Setting Up Animal Types in PawsAdmin

At PawsAdmin, we support all pet businesses and all types of pets! You can easily configure the animal types you work with on the Breeds page.

Setting Up Pet Types

By default, the animal type is set to "Dog". To add other pet types:

1. Navigate to Admin > Clients & Pets > Breeds page
2. Check all applicable pet types
3. Click Save
4. In the section below, you can customize the default pet breeds list by adding or removing breeds

Adding a New Pet

In-store:

1. Click the + sign > Pet to add a new pet (or use the left side menu > Add a Pet)
2. Select the animal type from the dropdown menu

On Client Portal or Widget:

1. Select the animal type from the dropdown menu

Managing Breeds

When adding a new pet, you can:

• Select or search for an existing breed
• If the breed isn't listed, check 'Breed not found' and enter a custom breed name in the provided textbox
