PawsAdmin now includes a feature option that, if enabled, ensures new clients cannot book online until approved by your staff.
This helps facilities control which clients can make bookings and prevents new or unverified customers from scheduling before completing your onboarding process.
💡 Why Use This Feature
Many facilities prefer to review and approve new clients before allowing online bookings. Common reasons include:
Assessment requirements: Some daycares require temperament or behavior assessments before accepting new pets.
Health and safety protocols: Pet therapy and grooming businesses often need to confirm vaccinations, health clearances, or other vet information before a first appointment.
Operational control: Prevents unapproved clients from creating duplicate or incomplete profiles or booking services before speaking with staff.
This feature helps you maintain quality control and ensure every client meets your intake requirements before booking.
🔍 How It Works
When a new client signs up and cannot be matched to an existing customer in your store, they’ll be flagged as a new client and will not be able to book online.
Once approved by your staff, the client can be granted booking access.

✅ How to Approve a New Client
Go to the Customer Profile.
Click the three dots button beside the customer’s name.
Select Edit Online Booking Profile Match.
Click the orange “Unban Customer from Online Booking” button.
“Banned” means the customer can still log into the portal, but cannot make new bookings until unbanned.
After unbanning, the client will have full access to book online.

⚙️ Important Setting
Make sure the Auto Match Flag is checked in your online booking settings (left side menu > online booking > configuration tab).
If it’s unchecked, existing clients would also be blocked from booking by default.
