Setting up your boarding prices correctly is essential for smooth operations and accurate billing. This guide will walk you through configuring all pricing options in the PawsAdmin system.
Getting Started
- Navigate to: Admin > Prices & Services > Boarding
- You'll find three main sections to configure:
Overnight Stay Pricing
Option 1: Kennel/Space Type Pricing
Set prices based on different accommodation types (e.g., standard kennel, luxury suite)
- Click "Add New Price"
- Enter details:
- Name (e.g., "Luxury Suite", "Standard Kennel")
- Nightly rate
- Link prices to specific kennels:
- Go to admin > capacity > kennel/space setup
- Assign price type to each kennel group (add one or more kennel/space under a kennel group)
- System will automatically apply correct pricing based on assigned space
Option 2: Pet Size Pricing
Create different rates based on pet sizes
- Add pet size in admin > pet > pet size
- Add new price entries for each size:
- Name (e.g., "1 Night XS", "1 Night XL") that match the pet size name
- Corresponding rate
- During booking:
- System automatically adjusts price based on pet's size
- Staff can verify size at check-in
Multiple Pet Pricing Options
Additional Pet Pricing
- Create "Additional Pet" price entry
- Set discounted rate for additional pets
Family Share Option
- Create "Family Share Additional Pet" price entry
- Set price to zero
Boarding Packages
Click on the package tab to enable multi-night stay boading packages.
Feeding Options
Default: Included in stay (no charge)
To add premium feeding options:
- Select "Feeding" tab
- Click "Add New Option"
- Enter:
- Name (e.g., "Premium Raw Diet", "Special Meal Prep")
- Price per meal
Add-on Services
Customize additional services for enhanced stays
- Click "Add New Add-on"
- Configure:
- Service name
- Frequency:
- One-time service
- Daily service
- Pricing:
- Fixed rate
- Variable (set at checkout)
Pro Tip: For grooming or transportation services, contact us to enable these specific modules for more detailed booking options.
Accessing Invoices
Once prices are set up, invoices will automatically generate based on:
- Selected accommodation type
- Pet size
- Feeding options
- Add-on services
Access invoices through:
- At booking
- Daily calendar
- After check-in
