The Pet Birthday Report gives you a clean, ready-to-use list of every pet with a birthday in a given month — perfect for birthday cards, monthly newsletters, in-shop birthday boards, and seasonal promotions.
How to Access
From the left side menu, go to:
Admin > Admin (new) > Reports > Pet Birthday Report
Select the month you'd like to view, and the report will load the list.
What the Report Shows
For each pet with a birthday in the selected month, the report includes:
- Day — date of the birthday
- Pet Name
- Breed
- Turning — the age the pet will turn
- Customer — the pet's owner
- Phone
The report defaults to active clients with valid birthdays on file, so the list is ready to use without extra filtering or cleanup.
Sorting, Filtering, and Searching
The report is a sortable, searchable datatable. You can:
- Sort any column (by day, by pet name, by breed, etc.) by clicking the column header
- Filter on the fly using the Search box — type "golden" to see only golden retrievers, type "15" to see only the 15th, and so on
- Adjust how many rows show per page
Exporting and Printing
Use the buttons at the top right of the table:
- Copy — copy the list to your clipboard
- CSV / Excel — download the list as a spreadsheet
- PDF — download a print-ready PDF
- Print — open the print preview directly
Great for sending to a designer, importing into your newsletter tool, using in our customer newsletter tool, or printing for the front desk.
What to Do With Your Monthly Birthday List
- Send a birthday email or text — wish each pet a happy birthday and offer a small treat or discount on their birthday-month visit (utilize our automated birthday wishes feature in marketing)
- Print a front-desk birthday board — keep the list at check-in so staff can wish each pup a happy birthday in person
- Run a birthday promotion — a free bandana, treat, or photo on birthday-month visits is a low-cost touch that delights clients
Troubleshooting
A specific pet's birthday isn't showing up. Open the pet's profile and make sure a date is entered in the Birthday field. The report only includes pets with a valid birthday on file.
The list shows pets I'd expect to be excluded. The report filters to active clients only. If you're still seeing entries you don't recognize or expect, reach out to support and we'll take a look.
