Online booking is a great way to grow your daycare business. It's easy to use, and your customers can reach it 24/7. Here’s how to set it up:
Widget or Client Portal?
Note: You can test Online Booking/Client Portal at any time on Online Booking > How to Book from Your Website > Preview
Widget: Your customer can make a reservation using just their email or phone number.
Client Portal: Your customer will need to set a password. In addition to making reservations, they can manage bookings, upload vaccinations, and make payments.
1. Set Up Online Booking

Sender Email: Update the sender email to your business email address, so when your customers reply to the emails, they reach you directly.

Check Email Admin if you want to receive email notifications for new booking requests.
- Note: Check your inbox right away for an email from Amazon Web Services and click on the link to confirm your address.

Click on Configuration to expand the window and customize your online booking settings.
- Add your cancellation and pickup policy.
- Customize the color scheme and brand message.
- Set the cancellation window.
- And more.
2. Advanced Settings for Online Booking
- Click on Advanced Settings > View Advanced Options.
- On this page, you can add custom texts and checkbox options to Daycare Online Booking.
- For example, you can set up an Evaluation checkbox.

- Daycare Prices (including packages) and capacity
- Onboarding questions and in-take forms
- Waivers
- Enable half-day daycare
- Require credit card to make a booking

4. How Online Booking Works
Invite Your Customers to Claim Their Client Portal Profile
- Go to Add Customer or Edit Customer.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and check Invite customer to claim their client portal profile.
- Click Add/Edit Customer to save the change.
For Your Customer

Go to Online Booking > How to Book from Your Website > Preview.
New Customer
- Enter an email or phone number to sign up.
- Fill out the new customer information.
- Sign the waiver.
- Book daycare appointments.
- Wait for booking confirmation.
For You
- Once a new online booking request is received, you will see it on your dashboard (and via email notification if the setting is enabled in Online Booking).
- Approve or decline; the customer will receive a notification via SMS and/or email based on their indicated preference.
- Check in the pet.
- If it's the pet's first day, they will receive an automated welcome email (enable in Marketing).
- Automated vaccination tracking and reminders will be sent on your behalf (enable in Marketing).
- You will find a birthday icon if it's the pet's birthday.
- You will find their package balance and auto-generated invoice.
- If social feedback is enabled, we will auto-collect feedback for you.
