If a daycare guest arrives early, stays late, or was checked in under the wrong day type, you can switch the booking between Full Day and Half Day directly from the Status page — no need to un-check-in the dog. PawsAdmin automatically adjusts the package balance and invoice for you.
1. Find the dog
Path: From the left side menu, go to Check-ins → Who's Here.
Scroll or search to locate the dog's row.
2. Click the new option
In the service column you'll see a small Full Day | Half Day toggle. The active option is highlighted in blue — click the other option to switch.
3. Review and confirm
A confirmation popup appears showing exactly what will change:

Package balance — e.g.,
Package: 2 visits → 2.5 visits remaining. -
Invoice — one of:
- An existing invoice line is updated (e.g.,
Invoice #1234: $28.00 → $18.00). - A new invoice is generated (shown in orange).
- The daycare line is removed entirely (when the new state is fully covered by the customer's package).
- An existing invoice line is updated (e.g.,
Click Confirm switch to apply. The row updates instantly.
To back out: click Cancel, press Esc, or click outside the popup — nothing changes.
What if I made a mistake?
No problem — click the other option again to switch it back. The system reconciles the invoice each time, so the final state is always correct, no matter how many times you toggle.
