PawsAdmin offers two easy ways for your customers to book appointments: the Customer Portal and the Booking Widget. Both options offer flexibility and convenience — you can choose one or use both depending on your needs.
✅ Step 1: Confirm Your Email Address
To send confirmation and reminder emails on your behalf, you'll need to verify your email address:

Go to Online Booking > Email Settings

You can use support@pawsadmin.com to get started, or enter your own email for branded communication.

Once updated, you’ll receive a verification email from Amazon SES (our email service).

Follow the instructions to verify. If you don’t see the email, check your junk/spam folder.
💡 Note: Company emails (e.g., yourname@yourbusiness.com) are preferred. Yahoo Mail does not support Amazon verification emails.
🛠 Step 2: Set Up Your Services & Try It Out
Click on the Online Booking Configuration toggle to manage settings:

Choose which services you'd like to make available for booking
- Set up your preferences, including theming, cancelation window, and more

When you are ready, click on the How to book from your website toggle. Use Preview or Portal Preview at the bottom of the section to test how your setup appears to clients
Both the Customer Portal and Booking Widget will reflect your selected services.
If you’ve set up:

Online payments, customers can pay during booking. [Read setup guide]

Waivers, customers will be prompted to sign them in the portal. [Read waiver guide]
📥 Step 3: How Booking Requests Work
Once a customer makes a booking:

You’ll receive an email notification

Inside PawsAdmin, a red counter on the cloud icon (top left) will show pending bookings

Click the icon to review and confirm or decline requests

Confirmed bookings will automatically trigger an email/SMS to the client (based on your settings)
✏️ Step 4: Customize Your Booking Experience
In the Advanced Settings tab, you can:

Add custom instructions or notes to appear during booking

Adjust client information fields and preferences

Set up auto-approval for booking requests (if desired)
🌐 Step 5: Add Booking to Your Website & Social Media
Once you're happy with the setup, you can link the online portal or widget to:

Your website

Social media (e.g., Facebook’s Book Now button)
