Your pet care provider uses PawsAdmin to run their bookings. Your client portal is where you book stays and visits, check your upcoming appointments, see past receipts, and keep your pets' photos and vaccination records up to date, all from your phone or computer. This guide walks you through the basics.

1. Set up your account

Your pet care provider will email you an invitation. Look for the subject line "Invitation from [business name] to complete your profile on client portal".

  1. Open the email and click Please complete your profile on our client portal.
  2. Your email address is already filled in. Choose a password, type it again under Repeat Password, and click claim your account. Your password needs to be at least 8 characters and include a number.

That's it. Your details and your pets are already there, so there's no profile to fill in.

Can't find the invitation? Check your spam or promotions folder. Still nothing? You don't need to wait for a new one: follow the steps in Forgot your password, or never set one? below, and we'll email you a fresh link.

2. Log in

Open the booking link your pet care provider gave you (it might be on their website, in an email, or a QR code at the front desk). Enter your email address or phone number, then your password, and click Log In.

Tip: save the page to your phone's home screen or bookmark it, so it's always one tap away.

3. Forgot your password, or never set one?

  1. On the login page, click Forgot or don't have a password?
  2. Enter your email address or phone number and click Request Reset Password.
  3. Check your email (and your texts, if your pet care provider uses them) for a link to set your password. It can take up to 5 minutes to arrive.

Once you're logged in, you can change your password any time from You > Change your Password.

4. Book a stay or visit

  1. Click Book in the top menu, then BOOK.
  2. Select the service you'd like and click Next.
  3. Pick your pet (or pets), your dates and times, and any add-ons.
  4. Click Book to send your request.

Depending on how your pet care provider has set things up, your booking is either confirmed straight away, or sent to them to confirm. If it needs confirming, you'll hear back by email or text.

5. See your upcoming appointments

Click Book in the top menu, then Reservation Status. You'll see every upcoming booking with its date, service and status:

  • Pending: your request has been sent and is waiting for your pet care provider to confirm it.
  • Confirmed: you're all booked.
  • Please reschedule: your pet care provider couldn't take this request. Click Reschedule to pick new dates.

6. Cancel or change a booking

  1. Click Book > Reservation Status.
  2. Find the booking and click Cancel, then confirm.

To move a booking to different dates, cancel it and then book the new dates as usual.

Don't see a Cancel button? Your pet care provider may only allow online cancellations up to a certain time before your appointment. Inside that window, contact them directly to cancel or make changes.

7. See your past receipts and visits

Click History in the top menu, then:

  • Purchase History to see what you've paid for. Click View details on any purchase to see the full receipt, or Print receipt to print or save it.
  • Check-in History to see your pets' past visits, with the date and service for each.

8. Add a photo of your pet

  1. Click You in the top menu.
  2. Find your pet and click the picture (or the pencil button on your pet's card).
  3. Under Pet Image, click Upload Pet Image and choose a photo.

Photos can be up to 10MB.

9. Upload vaccination records

  1. Click You in the top menu.
  2. Click the pencil button on your pet's card to open Edit Pet Info.
  3. Under Vaccination Records, click Upload Vaccination Record and choose the file. Photos and PDFs both work, up to 10MB.
  4. If your pet care provider asks for vaccination dates, update them in the same window, then click Update Pet Info.

If a vaccination has expired, you may see a red Blocks online booking label on your pet's card. Upload the new record and update the date, and you'll be able to book again.
