Boarding Onboarding Guide: Step 3 of 3 - Going live

You're almost there! Let's launch your Boarding business on PawsAdmin.

Tip: Most businesses are fully operational within a week!

For All Businesses:

1. Share Your Online Booking Link (2 minutes)
   • Navigate: Left Menu > Online Booking > How to Book (link)
   • Copy the "Client Portal Link."
   • Add it to:
     • Your website (as a button or link)
     • Social media profiles
     • Email signatures
2. Verify Your Email Address (2 minutes)
   • Navigate: Marketing > Email Verification (link)
   • Enter your email address at the top of the page. 
   • Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for an email from Amazon AWS (it's not from our email address!).
   • Click the verification link (it expires!).
   • Benefit: Customers will receive emails from your address.
3. Announce Your Portal Launch (5 minutes)
   • Navigation: Marketing > Custom Campaigns (link)
   • Send a newsletter to your clients and followers. 
   • Invite them to create their portal accounts.

For Businesses Migrating from Other Software:

1. Import Pets and Customers (Contact Support)
   • Securely send your data (CSV or Excel) to support:
     • Send an email with your file.
     • Attach your file via our support portal.
     • Share a Google Docs link.
2. Transfer Upcoming Appointments (20 minutes)
   • Navigation: top right menu > calendar icon > Boarding Booking View
   • Action: Manually add upcoming appointments (especially boarding, typically booked 2-4 weeks in advance).
   • Alternative: Email us for bulk import assistance.
   • Important: Record payment status ("Paid," "20% Paid") in the appointment notes for future invoicing.
3. Transfer Existing Boarding Packages if applicable (5+ minutes)
   • Navigate: Admin > Settings > Manage Pet Packages (link)
   • Search for the pet.
   • Update the package balance.
   • Alternative: Email your package information to support for import.
