Welcome to PawsAdmin Daycare Program! Let's Get Started!
Estimated Time: ~25 minutes
Goal: Complete setup, walk through the basic workflow, and get your daycare up and running.
Tip: To stay within the time limit, avoid getting stuck on a specific task. Fill in what you can, and if you have questions, write them down to review later or contact support.
1. Set Up Your Business Profile (5 Minutes)
This information will be displayed on invoices, reminders, and other communications.
- Navigate: Left Menu > Admin > Settings > Your Business.

Company Info:
- Click "Edit" next to "Company Info." (link)
- Update your business name, phone, email, and address.
- Click "Save."

Logo:
- Click "Edit" next to "Logo." (link)
- Upload your logo (PNG, GIF, JPG, JPEG).
- Tip: Right-click and save your logo from your website.
- Click "Update Logo." (Skip if you don't have one yet)

Waiver:
- Click "Edit" next to "Waiver." (link)
- Use our template ("Copy" button) or paste your own.
- Click "Save Waiver."
2. Add Your Daycare Services (5 Minutes)
- Navigate: Left Menu > Admin > Settings > Products & Services > Prices and Services. (link)

Add Services:
- Click "Edit" next to Daycare
- Click "+Add Price" and select "Daycare."
- Quick Setup: Use "+Quick Add from Templates" for common services.

Manual Setup:
- Check "Half-day daycare" if needed.
- Enter a "Checkout Name" (what clients see).
- Select "Package Type":
- Single Usage (one visit)
- Multiple Usage (package)
- Unlimited (membership, recurring billing optional)
- Set the price.
- Set "1st/2nd dog price" for multi-dog discounts.
- Need Help? Email your price list to support for import assistance.
3. Customize Pet & Client Profiles (5 Minutes)
- Navigate: Left Menu > Admin > Settings > Clients & Pets > Tracked Fields

Pet Fields:
- Review and disable unnecessary fields (e.g., specific vaccinations). (link)
- Click "Add Custom Field" for unique pet info.

Client Fields:
- Click the client tab. (link)
- Review and disable unnecessary fields.
- Click "Add Custom Field" for unique client info.
4. Configure Online Booking & Payments (5 Minutes)

Online Booking (Optional):
- Navigate: Left Menu > Communications > Online Booking > Configuration (link)
- Customize colors, brand message, and cancellation window.
- Click "Update Configuration."

5. Set Up Team Accounts (5 Minutes)
- Navigate: Left Menu > Admin > Settings > Team (link)

Add Accounts:
- Click "Add Account" under the appropriate section:
- Admin: Full system access.
- Store: Access to all except Admin menu.
- Clock-In/Out: Employee time tracking.
- Enter username, email, and password.
- Check "Send welcome email."
- Click "Go."
- Store accounts have the optional ability to restrict login IP addresses.

Additional Setup Options:

Automated Marketing: Communications > Marketing to enable automated birthday wishes, welcome new customers, vaccination reminders, report cards, loyalty program, newsletter, review collection, and more. (link) (optional)
Navigate to: Left menu → Admin → Admin(NEW) → Marketing (link)
- Enable Birthday notifications
- Enable Vaccination tracking for automatic reminders
- Enable Loyalty program for repeat customers
- Enable Review collection to build your online reputation
- Pick-up/Drop-off Hours: Admin > Settings > Calendar & Capacity > General days open (link)
- Capacity Management: Admin > Settings > Calendar & Capacity > Capacity (link)
